Suspended Movement Training Sessions
This qualification is aimed at qualified fitness instructors and personal trainers wishing to acquire the additional knowledge and competencies required to plan and deliver safe and effective suspended movement training sessions. Suspension training has become extremely popular over recent years, mainly due to the ease and convenience of setting up suspension straps almost anywhere. If you are a gym instructor, group exercise instructor or personal trainer, this qualification almost certainly support and improve the service you offer your clients. This qualification is recognised by REPs and approved via YMCA Awards.

- The history and origins of suspended movement training
- The benefits of suspended movement training
- Health and safety considerations for suspended movement training sessions
Skills relating to the qualification:
- How to prepare, plan and instruct suspended movement training sessions; identify individual client requirements and adapt exercises accordingly
- Effective communication skills
- How to progress and regress exercises accordingly to suit your client’s ability and needs
